Banana bread
INGREDIENTS
METHODS
  1. Heat oven to 175˚C.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream butter, sugar and egg until fluffy.
  3. Add flour, baking powder and bananas.
  4. In a separate bowl dissolve baking soda in the milk.
  5. Add this to the mixture.
  6. Beat until smooth.
  7. Put in a 9x9x2 dish and bake (grease it first) for 45 minutes or for 60 minutes in a loaf pan.
FOR ICING
  1. In a pot put a bit of icing sugar, a blob of butter and a squeeze of lemon. Pour a tiny bit of boiling water over butter. Mix.
