Nestle's Chocolate Chip Cookies
INGREDIENTS
2 1/4 cups unsifted flour (when double, use 5 cups)
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup softened butter
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs
Chocolate chips
METHODS
Heat oven to 190˚C.
In a small bowl combine flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.
In a large bowl combine butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla; beat until creamy.
Beat eggs. Gradually add flour mixture; mix well.
Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop teaspoonful-sized rounded balls on to uncreased cookie sheets.
Cook 8-10 minutes.
Makes 100 2-inch cookies.
