INGREDIENTS
- 1 egg
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 tablespoon molasses
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 1/2 cups rolled oats
- 2 cups flour
METHODS
- Heat oven to 165˚C.
- Beat egg. Add sugar, butter, oil, molasses (poured from same cup as butter so it won’t stick).
- In another bowl, mix dry ingredients. Add to wet mixture.
- Press flat on to cookie sheet and bake for about 10 minutes.
- At Christmas add coloured sugar to the top of them.
